Assassin’s Creed origins is a couple of months away from launch and after skipping one year, Ubisoft is determined to reinvent the franchise with the upcoming title. Ubisoft has been revealing a lot of details about Assassin’s Creed Origins and we also happen to get our hands on the game and here we are to list the coolest things you can do in Assassin’s Creed Origins.
Assassin’s Creed Orings’s Egypt setting allows for a lot of activities that can be done and here we will list those activities that we found the coolest that can be done in Assassin’s Creed origins.
Ubisoft has already confirmed that Tombs are returning in Assassin’s Creed Origins and this time the tombs are based on the real thing.
The pyramids in the game are not only to give legitimacy to the game’s world but, they are also tombs of ancient Pharaohs filled with treasures. However, in order to get to the treasure players will have to navigate through puzzles. Some of the puzzles in these tombs are based on physics and some are parkour while some are combinations of both.
Also, many of the tombs featured in the game are base on their real life counterparts which will give you an edge if you find your self in a situation in one of those tombs in real life.
Using The Eagle To Harass NPCs
Assassin’s Creed Orings protagonist, Bayek, has a companion in the form of an eagle which acts as a recon drone and can tag enemies before Bayek gets to infiltrate a fortress or any building and is the replacement for the series’ popular eagle vision. However, the Eagle can be used for another purpose which is harassing or distracting NPCs.
All Bayek has to do is give the instruction and the Eagle will swoop down on the target and will tangle itself with their hair and while they are distracted by the Eagle players can sneak up and put one in their back.
Being A Detective
Assassin’s Creed franchise is no stranger to feature investigative missions as Dearful Crimes sidequests were featured in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. These sidequests make a return in Assassin’s Creed Origins and while the investigation is nothing compared to L.A Noire but, it is still better than tailing people from the rooftops and constantly keeping them in your sight.
Ubisoft has completely revamped the combat in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Origins. Unlike the previous entries where players had to constantly button mash to wipe out a mob of enemies, in Assassin’s Creed Origins the combat has been changed in a big way the most notable change is the addition of shield.
The shield is quite useful as it can be used to absorb damage from the opposition and even to knock enemies back with a shield strike. However, dodging is just as important if you plan to keep Bayel alive and survive the fight. Also, if you are trying to keep your distance, you can use your bow.
Sliding Down From The Top Of A Pyramid
There are pyramids in the game which serve as the tombs, fortresses and also as a way to some stupid stuff which includes sliding to the bottom from the top of a pyramid and besides what the dead Pharaoh inside the pyramid is gonna do about it.
So these are the activities we found to be cool for players to do in Assassin’s Creed Origins. Anything else you want to add or see in the game? Let us know in the comments.
