Once you have downloaded the HxD Hex Editor, the first thing that you need to know is to find the ‘data.win’ file. You should be able to find the file at the following directory:
After you have located the file, open it using the HxD Hex Editor. We also suggest backing up the file in case something goes wrong. Once done, follow the steps mentioned below:

While in the HxD Hex Editor, press Ctrl + G, head to the Go-To Window, and paste 000076DF58 before pressing Enter. Now change the ‘00’ to ‘01’ that should allow you to disable the Dogcheck for rooms above 265.

While still in the editor, open the Go-To Window and travel to 000071009C. At this point, you need to replace ‘05 00’ with ’26 06’ in order to fix the collision.

For the third step, travel to 0000BA4A44 and change ‘04’ to ‘01’ in order to disable the extra Dogcheck. Once done, travel to 0000BA46C4 and change ‘04’ to ‘01’. Finally, save by hitting Ctrl + S, and close the editor.
If everything done right, you should be able to access the Dog Shrine. In order to access it, head to the Papyrus’ House, enter the sink, and head to the shrine. Finally, one thing that you need to know is that it only works for the PC version and not on Mac/Linux.
