The Microsoft Xbox One X seems to be doing great. It was on the list of top sellers on Amazon and now the Microsoft Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition is sold out in most countries around the world. The Microsoft Xbox One X is the fastest-selling Xbox pre-order and sold out in the first 5 days.
Mike Nichols, Corporate Vice President of Marketing for Xbox, talked about the amazing response that the Microsoft Xbox One X has got in a blog post. He also said that while the Project Scorpio Edition has been sold out, customers will be able to pre-order the standard edition next month.

Keeping in mind that the Microsoft Xbox One X is a premium console, the company stated that the Xbox One S would be the console that will be sold in high volumes instead of the Microsoft Xbox One X but that does not seem to be the case here. According to Microsoft:
Our volume seller will be Xbox One S – it’s $249, it’ll be the thing most people buy. X is designed for the hardcore gamer who wants to play the best versions of those games. When I look at the Xbox family I don’t feel like we have to come out with six new games just for X, it’ll play everything that’s come out, back compat will work on it, elements like that.
While it may have been predicted that the Xbox One S will be the volume seller, it seems that the console is under performing. Then again, it might be too soon to come to a conclusion at this point. Microsoft has said that the company will keep on making Xbox One X consoles in order to meet the demand. According to Xbox Marketing General Manager Aaron Greenberg:
We’ll see. We’re gonna make as many Xbox One Xs as we can make. All the signs are that it’s gonna be the number one hit product of this Holiday, so we’re gonna keep up with demand the best that we can.
