Madden NFL 18 Longshot Endings Guide – All Endings Explained

The Longshot mode is based on ‘The Journey’ Mode from FIFA 17 that was widely successful. There are a total of three different Madden NFL 18 Longshot Endings in the mode and your decisions impact whether Devin Wade is drafted into a team or not.

The main story is the same in all three – Devin Wade trying to make the NFL after a long absence from football. Remember that there are massive spoilers in this Madden NFL 18 Longshot Endings Guide so be careful before reading ahead!

Madden NFL 18 Longshot Endings

In our Madden NFL 18 Longshot Endings Guide, we have detailed all three endings that you can get in Madden NFL 18 Longshot Mode, depending on your choices.

Madden NFL 18 Longshot Endings

Longshot Ending #1

This is the best possible scenario in which Wade I drafted by his favorite team in the Seventh Round of the draft. All of the three endings center around Day 3 of the NFL Draft and it features round 4 through 7.

In this main ending, Colt Cruise is not drafted but Wade is picked up at pick 250 by his favorite team. Cruise stays in shape in case an NFL team calls him to their squad and continues to play music.

Longshot Ending #2

In this ending, Colt Cruise is drafted to a team and Devin Wade signs on with the team as a free agent later on. In this ending Cruise gets a call from an NFL team, both of the players believe they want to talk to Wade but they end up going for Cruise as he is picked in the sixth round of the draft.

Then Wade receives a call from Dan Marino with 2 choices. Either to join the favorite team or the team Wade joined as an undrafted Rookie. The latter allowing him to celebrate with his friend.

Longshot Ending #3

In the last ending of the game, Colt Cruise is drafted and Devin Wade signs a contract with a different team in the same division after the draft. This scenario is almost identical to the second one as Wade watches his best friend get drafted.

In the end, Wade joins his favorite team but has a choice to tell Cruise the truth about not joining him or lying by telling him he only had one offer.
