Beyond Good and Evil 2 will be a true prequel to the original game, released in 2003 on PS2 and PC. Yes you heard it right, a prequel. The game will revolve around the story before the events of Beyond Good and Evil and that lead to a situation that was covered in the original game.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 is not a standard formula used in Ubisoft games. It uses unique elements and intriguing ideas to explore that gamers are going to experience after 15 long of wait. The release date has not been confirmed but it is safe to say that the game will not launch until 2018.
Judging from all the trailers and introspection we’re here to a discuss in brief, the flavors this game is going to offer.
The gameplay incorporates RPG elements such as the character starts from the very bottom of the social system. Abilities, attributes, spacecraft and crew members grow and develop with time. Ancel said that they do anticipate that there will be a narrative element that includes fixed story events as well as events based on what decisions the player had made in exploring planets.
The game will have single-player and cooperative player support; even as a single-player, the player participates in a shared universe, with some events affecting all players at the same time. The co-op online feature will change the way your story unfolds because it’s the players who will make unique decisions at different times.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 will have character customization in cosmetic aspects. That will also change the way people interact with you. This gives player a next level of depth to customization. Much like the Mass Effect series, the decisions we will make in the game will affect the way our crew and our environment react to us.
The game will not offer loading times when moving to different areas and locations. Just like we have seen in GTA 5. This will be huge, considering the fact that Beyond Good and Evil 2 will cover multiple planets to explore.
