Sledgehammer Games has released a Call of Duty: WW2 Headquarters trailer, showing everything that you’ll be able to do in the multiplayer social area for Call of Duty: WW2. The Headquarters is a similar space to the Tower in Destiny, though it seems to be more oriented towards training.
In addition to allowing you to meet up with your friends before you run off to the multiplayer, the Headquarters area also allows players to train with scorestreaks, using cover, and more, meaning you can get into games for fun with other players as you get better with weapons, reaction times, scorestreaks, and more.
In a game like Call of Duty, where reaction times, aiming, and being able to use your scorestreaks effectively are key skills, all of those training areas are going to be vital when the game releases.
Call of Duty: WW2 is going to be changing up the Call of Duty multiplayer style a good bit, moving away from the “Create Your Soldier”-style class creator and instead putting players into various Divisions based on their play style, whether you prefer heavy weapons, getting up close and personal, or staying off to the sidelines and providing sniper support.
In addition to all of the different training areas, players can also do things like have shooting contests on the headquarters firing range, which can also allow them to test out the various weapons they’ll unlock over the course of their play. With all of the weapons you’ll be picking up in the game, you’ll want to test out which ones you like the best in your class.
To see the Call of Duty: WW2 Headquarters trailer, all you have to do is look further up the article. The Headquarters unfortunately won’t be open to try when the game’s beta drops, so you’ll just have to wait until the game actually comes out on November 3 on the Xbox One, the Playstation 4, and the PC.
