Hot on the heels of a new Shadow of War trailer from Gamescom, we have more footage of the game in action and this time it is the PC version in all its 4K 60 FPS glory thanks to Nvidia.
As can be expected, Shadow of War looks amazing in 4K and 60FPS, however, Nvidia didn’t share what kind of PC the game was running on. Although given the scale of the game, it wouldn’t be a surprise if was running some of the latest hardware out there including Nvidia’s own GTX 1080Ti.
How the actual complete game fares, once it’s out in the hands of consumers, remains to be seen but after the amazing port quality of Shadow of Mordor, it seems like Monolith Productions can be trusted to not drop the ball and deliver a well-polished product.
Shadow of War is set to launch on PS4, PC and Xbox One on 10th October. Despite being single player, Warner Bros. and Monolith have implemented a highly controversial microtransaction system in the game that allows players to get good gear by paying real money.
A mobile version of the game is also in the works which sort of plays out like a tactical RPG/card game as players are put in shoes of famous characters from the game as well as movies.
Speaking of characters, the game is also doing a somewhat different take on a well-known character from Tolkien-verse by depicting Shelob the spider as a woman who apparently is on Talion and Celebrimbor’s side and will help them against Sauron.
