Following the announcement of Final Fantasy XV for PC, Square Enix has now announced the Final Fantasy XV pocket edition for mobile devices. Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition was revealed during Gamescom 20017 livestream where the devs confirmed the pocket edition for iOS, Android, and Windows 10.
The Windows 10 edition might be for the Windows mobiles. Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition will be available later this year but, no concrete release date has been announced by Square Enix. Not much is known about the game but, we will keep you posted if we learn anything.
Square Enix is also working on Final Fantasy VII Remake and the devs have confirmed that Final Fantasy VII remake will feature action based combat instead of the command based which was featured in the original game.
Battles are not command-based, they’re action-based. Regarding cover actions, there are places where they can be done on the map, but they are not required. Because it’s seamless, I showed that there can be actions in response to various scenes.
Also, Steve Burton has been confirmed to voice Cloud Strife again in the remake. Steve Burton made it official through his Twitter account by confirming that he will be again voicing his Final Fantasy VII character, Cloud Strife.
Also, the studio has confirmed that Final Fantasy VII will feature destructible environments and there will also be part-based destruction elements in the game.
Map and object destruction will also happen, and there are part-based destruction elements like breaking the Guard Scorpion’s legs.
