Following a leak earlier this month, Electronic Arts (EA) has officially announced Battlefield 1: Revolution for all three platforms.
The new purchasable edition bundles the base game with the premium pass, which gives players access to four planned expansion packs: They Shall Not Pass, In the Name of the Tsar, Turning Tides, and Apocalypse. In addition, owners of Battlefield 1: Revolution will receive the Red Baron, Lawrence of Arabia, and Hellfighter packs as well.
As a reminder, They Shall Not Pass released months back and In the Name of the Tsar will arrive next month. The Hellfighter pack was initially a pre-order incentive for players, and the rest were released as bonus add-on content over time.
Those who have yet to experience Battlefield 1 or are still pondering over the expansion packs will make the most out of the announcement. Battlefield 1: Revolution carries a nifty retail price of $60 and is now available for purchase. That covers a lot of multiplayer maps, items, vehicles, emblems, and cosmetic upgrades.
Coiniding with the release of the new edition is a new map called Lupkow Pass. It is available for now for only owners of the premium pass and is one of the new maps from the next expansion pack.
During its press conference at Gamescom 2017, the publisher also announced a new competitive mode for Battlefield 1 called Incursions. It is still in development but an upcoming closed alpha test will allow lucky individuals to get an early glimpse.
