WWE 2K18 Nintendo Switch Version Will Only Support 6 On Screen Characters

Like many third-party titles, WWE 2K18 will also launch for Nintendo Switch and it seems that the game will not feature as many characters on-screen on Switch as the other platforms. 2K Sports has confirmed that WWE 2K18 will only support 6 on-screen characters for Nintendo Switch.

However, it seems that this will be the only difference between the Nintendo Switch versions and current gen versions as 2K Sports has assured that new features such as the MyPlayer mode and the new Custom Match option will be available in the Switch version of WWE 2K18.

In related news, WWE 2K18 will launch for Nintendo Switch along with PC and current gen consoles. However, fans were worried that the Switch version will be based on the legacy consoles but, the developers have clarified that Switch version of the game will not be based on the legacy consoles.

This comes following the announcement of FIFA 18 Switch version being different from PC and current gen consoles. Also, the Switch version of FIFA 18 will not include the game’s single-player campaign, The Journey mode. The Journey: Hunter Returns, will also be exclusive to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 versions.

However, EA has hinted that more of its titles could be released for Switch. According to EA, the company will bring its titles to any platform that presents a business opportunity and given the success of Switch, we might be seeing more EA titles on Switch.

Also, The Rock is the Executive Soundtrack Producer on WWE 2K18. Being an Executive Soundtrack Producer on WWE 2K18 involves picking soundtracks that will be featured in the game. According to Dwayne himself, he is excited to be partnering with 2K on the game.

WWE 2K18 is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 17, 2017.
