Best New Video Games Coming in September 2017

September is the month which sets the pace for all the new video games releases for the fall season. This year, in September we see many big games coming. Most of them are sports giants such as the new PES 2018 and FIFA 18. Also, Destiny is returning with the second installment in the franchise with Destiny 2.

Accompanying these giant titles are games such as Knack 2, Project Cars 2, and also the new Nintendo Console SNES Classic mini console is all set to launch this month.

September 2017 New Video Games Releases

This piece details some of the New Video Games that you will be able to get your hands during the month of September 2017.

Knack 2 – Sept. 5

Knack 2

Knack 2 is the sequel to the original Knack developed by SIE Japan Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is an upcoming action-platforming video game, which follows the adventures of Knack and his friends. Knack 2 is set to improve the reputation that the first game suffered and promises to improve upon all those aspects, which the first game lacked. We can expect this game to be good, as Marianne Krawczyk, a writer for the God of War Series, has been helping the development team of Knack 2. Available for PS4.

Destiny 2 – Sept. 6

Another AAA title coming our way in September is Destiny 2. Destiny 2 is an upcoming multiplayer first-person shooter game developed by Bungie and published by Activision. We can return to our duty as the Guardian in Destiny 2 and it is one of the most hyped games of 2017. It has all the features of the original game such as classes and character progression and promises tons of new content that will keep us busy for days to come.

After trying out the game’s beta, Destiny 2 has easily become one of the most anticipated New Video Games coming in September. Available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

PES 2018 – Sept. 12

PES or Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 is the newest title in the long-running franchise of PES by Capcom. It features a lot of new features and visual improvements over the previous games and promises to be the best soccer game in the market this year. This time Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, and Liverpool are confirmed as being officially licensed in the game. Along with these teams, many other teams are also joining the roster of PES 218 so we can expect it to be a solid soccer experience.

Divinity – Original Sin 2 (Sept. 14

The first title in the series was a mega-hit among turn-based RPG game fans. Building on the same concept, Divinity – Original Sin 2 is an upcoming turn-based role-playing game developed and published by Larian Studios. Build your character and team up with up to three companions to embark on a quest to defeat Bishop Alexander. Divinity Original Sin 2 adds many new features for the player to experience and they are expected to greatly improve the player experience than the first title in the series. Available for PC.

Dishonored – Death of Outsider (Sept. 15

Death of the Outside is an upcoming standalone expansion for Dishonored 2 and it also serves as a sequel to the game. We return to Karnaca as Billie Lurk as we hunt down The Outsider. This expansion and sequel is most probably setting up the pace for further expansion or a next title in the series and we cannot wait to play it. Dishonored is becoming one of the most anticipated gaming franchises and this expansion will probably seal the fate for the future of the series. This is arguably our one of the most anticipated New Video Games coming in September. Available for PC, Xbox One, PC.

Marvel Vs Capcom – Infinite (Sept. 19

Marvel Vs Capcom is an upcoming fighting game developed by Capcom. It is the sixth entry in the long-running franchise and it is supposed to be the best one so far. It features the most diverse roster ever seen in a Marvel Vs Capcom game and it also adds tons of new features and modes to fight.

Characters return from both universes in this game to brawl in this cross-universe fighting game. What sets this apart from any previous MVC game is that it uses two-on-two fighting system instead of the traditional three-on-three fighting system. Available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

NBA 2K18 – Sept. 19

The sports month will never be complete without NBA and we will be getting the NBA 2K18 this month as well. NBA 2K18 is an upcoming basketball game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. NBA 2K18 has a lot of new features and brings back our favorite NBA team. Project Cars 2 – Sept. 19

Project Cars took the racing community by surprise with its awesome simulation mechanics but it lacked in many things. Project Cars 2 promises to fill all those gaps left by the original game and aims to be the best racing simulator out there. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 – Sept. 22

Nintendo SNES Classis Mini Console – Sept. 29

Okay, this is not a game but a console and since we are a big Nintendo fan, we will include this in our list of the games that I am most excited about in September. Boasting the original look and two wired retro Super NES Classic controllers, get ready for a nostalgic trip back to the ‘90s. Super SNES comes preloaded with 21 games such as Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda – A Link to the Past and Super Meteoroid plus a slot to play the game cartridges. It also comes with a game, which was never released, on the original console back in the 90s, Starfox 2. Nintendo SNES Classic Mini console will launch for a price tag of $79.99 only.

Total War – Warhammer 2 – Sept. 29

Anyone who is a fan of strategy games on PC knows about Total War games and the realism that they feature about wars and history. The newest installment in the series is Total War – Warhammer. Total War – Warhammer is an upcoming turn-based strategy and real-time tactics video game developed by Creative Assembly and published by Sega. Total War – Warhammer 2 is a sequel to Total War – Warhammer that came out in 2016.

It combines two distinct worlds of Total War mechanics and the characters of the Warhammer universe and gives us the best battle experience ever. It improves in many aspects of the original game and comes loaded with many new features. Total War – Warhammer 2 is bound to satisfy your strategy battle need when most of the developers have abandoned this genre. Available on PC.
