Report: Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition To Be Revealed At Gamescom 2017
Microsoft fully revealed its upcoming Xbox One X at E3 2017 and since then the console has been in the news. Microsoft will reveal the pre-order details for the console this Sunday and a report has emerged that Microsoft has planned a reveal for Xbox One X at Gamescom 2017.
Some images have started to make rounds on the internet, via MSPowerUser, and is reportedly being called Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition. In the images, as you see them below, the alleged Project Scorpio Edition of the console has a green textured pattern on the console and the controller.
However, it is important to note that this is just a leak so take it as a grain of salt until Microsoft officially announces it at Gamescom 2017.
In related news, Crackdown 3 has been delayed until Spring 2018 and the game originally was to launch alongside with Xbox One X. However, following the delay, many are wondering if it would impact launch sales of the console. Well, according to Micheal Patcher, the delay will have no impact on the console’s launch sales as he does not expect the console to sell well in the first place.
I don’t think Xbox One X sales are going to be very high in the first place because of price, and don’t think a six to eight month delay for Crackdown makes any material difference.
While the analysts don’t think that the console will sell well but, the developers have been praising the console and the freedom it allows them. According to Ubisoft, the power of Xbox One X allows them to render Assassin’s Creed Origins in dynamic 4K.
Xbox One X will be available on November 7, 2017, in the US and will be priced at $499 and will come with games such as Forza Motorsport 7, Halo 5 and more.
