Ubisoft has been supporting Rainbow Six Siege with a slew of new maps, operators, and content since launch and the studio is showing no signs of slowing down to release new content for the game. Ubisoft has confirmed Operation Blood Orchid for the game which will bring a new map and three new operators later this month.
Now, Ubisoft has given us a first look at the upcoming Theme Park map scheduled to launch later this month as part of the Operation Blood Orchid. In the video, we get our first look at the Rainbow Six Siege map, we see abandoned arcades, a haunted house, and ferris wheel.
Team Rainbow has been called to raid an abandoned theme park on the shores of Hong Kong. Two of S.D.U.’s most resourceful Operators were chosen to lead a lethal raid in this challenging perimeter. Get ready to discover a colorful and eclectic new map filled with dynamic and fast-paced face-offs.
Operation Blood Orchid will also bring three new operators to Rainbow Six Siege. The three new operators for the game includes two Hong Kong operators and one Poland operator. These operators along with the map will be available for season pass holders on August 29 and the rest will get them on September 5.
Also, Rainbow Six Siege console community has been asking Ubisoft to ban mouse and keyboard on the consoles. However, the issue not as easy to resolve as one might think and Ubisoft has noted that it can’t ban these peripherals on consoles.
Responding to a thread on the official forums, the developer stated that “there is nothing further that can be done” apart from already disabling native support for peripherals.
Rainbow Six Siege is a tactical first-person multiplayer shooter developed by Ubisoft for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
