The Marvel vs Capcom Infinite roster of playable characters at launch is finally complete with the announcement of Jedah, Dormammu, Firebrand, and Ghost Rider.
They have all been revealed in the past months in one way or another. Jedah Dohma from the Darkstalkers franchise was a surprise pick during an exhibition match at the Evolution Championship Series (EVO 2017) last month. Both Dormammu and Firebrand were teased earlier this month through variant covers of the latest comics from Marvel. Ghost Rider was similarly showcased in another variant cover just last week.
Marvel vs Capcom Infinite has also received a new trailer that showcases some of the characters in action and highlights a few elements from the story mode. In addition, the developer brings to attention some of the visual improvements that have been made to the game.
Capcom had to recently face severe criticism from the fighting game community over the looks of some of the characters. This included Chun Li, Dante, and Chris Redfield; all of whom look absolutely terrifying in the game. The new trailer confirms that they have received new models, which are a lot more appealing than before.
Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is scheduled to release on September 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It hopes to sell at least two million units worldwide.
