Sledgehammer Games has announced that there will be a Call of Duty: WW2 Loot Crate promotion that will be coming out around the same time as the game. The crate, sponsored by the company Loot Crate, will allow subscribers to the service to get a bunch of cool stuff.

Loot Crate isn’t like a multiplayer gacha-esque crate in any sense, being an actual physical product rather than one you can buy with microtransactions in a regular game. Loot Crate is a company that every month sends out a special themed box full of various pop culture items for subscribers, ranging from superheroes to science fiction to fantasy and more.

The Call of Duty: WW2 Loot Crate will be launching in December, around a month after the game comes out on November 3. It will cost $50, but so far Loot Crate hasn’t revealed what will actually be inside the crate. Therefore, if you’re wanting to buy the crate but are cautious about whether you’ll be wasting your money, it might be better to hold off on buying it until you actually know what’s inside.

In additino to the Loot Crate for Call of Duty, there has also been a series of Fallout Loot Crates announced that will also be releasing in December. Back in June, the Halo series also got a series of Loot Crates that came out along with the game as a promotion. There was also a limited-release Mass Effect box.

If you want to pick up the Call of Duty: WW2 Loot Crate anyway, even with the rather expensive $50 price tag, then you’re free to do it. All the same, Call of Duty: WW2 will be coming out for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on November 3. The pre-order exclusive beta will begin on August 25 to 28 for Playstation 4 owners, and from September 1 to 4 for PC and Xbox owners.
