Report: ReCore: Definitive Edition Launching This Month With A New Corebot And Extended Map
ReCore is a Xbox exclusive launched last year with a mixed reception and it seems that Microsoft is looking to give ReCore another chance as rumors of a Definitive Edition of ReCore have been circulating the internet and now, content for the rumored Recore: Definitive Edition have apparently been leaked.
The leaked content comes from the IndianNoob who claims that ReCore: Definitive Edition will be out in a couple of weeks with more content and a lot of improvements to the game including the technical ones. According to the report, the world map of ReCore: Definitive Edition will be extended with a new area “Eye of Obsidian”.
The report further suggests that the game will also include a new corebot called “T8NK”, and the site has also got hands on the images for this new corebot. According to the report, developer Armature Studios has also been working on the technical side of the game, like decreasing the loading times which were partly the reason for low review scores.
The definitive edition will also include HDR support and will also feature high-resolution graphics which is something that those who already own the game will probably receive in an upcoming update.
However, Microsoft has been very quiet about it and is yet to comment on it. Also, take this as a grain of salt until Microsoft officially announced the definitive edition.
The game might not have been the success Microsoft has hoping it to be but, according to Xbox head, Phil SPencer, the game reminded him why he fell in love with gaming in the first place.
ReCore is one of those games that makes me remember why I fell into gaming in the first place. Joule is a great lead character [and] I think the series doesn’t take itself too seriously, you know, it’s how gaming started, right?
ReCore is an action adventure game developed by Armature Studio for PC and Xbox One.
