With Gamescom just around the corner, not all of us might be looking beyond the event just yet but, Sony Interactive Entertainment is. While PlayStation will be bringing Detroit: Become human at Gamescom 2017, PlayStation has confirmed its presence at Paris Games Week.
Sony has started to send out invitations for its Paris Games Week media event. The event will take place on Monday, October 30 at 17:00 CEST and 8 am Pacific. While Sony did not confirm the titles it will be bringing to the event but, we might see God Of War, Days Gone, Spider-Man and other VR projects.
It is important to note that this is the third year in a row that Sony has not revealed anything new at Gamescom, the last time the company revealed a new title was P.T in 2014.
On the other hand, Nintendo will have a big presence at Gamescom 2017 and the game lineup for Nintendo includes Super Mario Odessey, Metroid, and a slew of other titles. Those who will be present at the event will get ot try out the Metro Kingdom and Sand Kingdom levels of Super Mario Odyssey.
Other publishers will also be bringing their games to Gamescom 2017 and the most interesting of all, at least for me, is the Bioware’s upcoming Anthem as Bioware will reveal new gameplay for Anthem at the event.
In related news, since the reveal of Anthem, many gamers have speculated that the new IP from Bioware seems to be quite similar to Mass Effect. But, according to the studio itself, that is not the case. According to Bioware, the new IP has more in common with Star Wars than Mass Effect franchise.
Anthem is an action RPG in development at Bioware and will launch sometime next year for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
