When the first leaks regarding the AMD Vega 64 started coming out we heard reports that the mining performance of AMD Vega 64 will be amazing and that it will be able to achieve 100 MH/s. This was a very unlikely number as the GTX 1080 Ti was capable of half that. It turns out that previous information was wrong.
The AMD Vega 64 liquid cooled version is not capable of 200 MH/s and that means that the rest will not be able to reach this level of performance either. People are now speculating how well the AMD Vega 64 will perform when mining. The RX 580 is capable of 33MH/s on modded bios so people are speculating the Vega will be capable of a little more.
AMD Vega 64 is all the hype these days and people are very excited about the upcoming GPUs. There have been a couple of leaks regarding the performance of the AMD Vega 64 but we will find out for sure this Monday, so stay tuned for more information.
From the leaks that we have seen so far, it seems that the AMD Vega 64 will be taking on the GTX 1080 and the Vega 56 will compete with the GTX 1070. Having that said, I am sure that price will be a major factor and it seems that GPUs are going to be sold higher than the MSRP.
While there is no certainty, we have got several retailers claiming that this will be the case and we have even found an online listing that reveals the same. The AMD Vega GPUs are going to be sold for as much as $100 more than the MSRP. This will indeed have some kind of impact on sales.
let us know what you think about AMD Vega 64 and whether or not you are interested in buying one of these GPUs when they come out.
