AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 is all the hype these days and it seems that the GPUs will be sold at a higher price than the MSRP. At first, this was a rumor but a recent listing along with multiple retailers stating the same could confirm this. You can read all about it here. According to reports AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 and 65 reviews will be coming this Monday.
AMD Radeon Vega 56 cards have reached the reviewers and the NDA is until the 14th of August so you can expect to see reviews coming out on Monday. According to sources, AMD is stressing that reviewers should pay close attention to the Vega 56 GPU and GamersNexus claims that AMD asked reviewers to prioritize Vega 56 over Vega 64.
AMD Vega 56 is not a full Vega 10 GPU and is a cut-down version but the price is also lower than the Vega 64. That could be one of the reasons why AMD is trying to stress on the cheaper GPU. Plus the price of these GPUs is more than the MSRP and that does not only affect the Vega 64 GPUs but Vega 56 GPUs as well.
“As of today, AMD noted that RX Vega 56 cards have been shipped to reviewers, along with a request that reviewers specifically “prioritize coverage” of RX Vega 56 over RX Vega 64 under time-constrained conditions.”
The leaks and the information that we have so far revealed that the AMD Radeon RX Vega 64, as well as the Vega 56, are decent GPUs and that they can go head to head with the Nvidia GTX 1080 and GTX 1070. All that remains to be seen is the price point at which these GPUs will be sold at.
The leaks and benchmarks are all great but we will have to see how well these GPUs run games before we can come to a conclusion.
Let us know what you think about the AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 and Vega 56 and whether or not you are interested in buying one of these GPUs.
