While we do tell people to take information with a grain of salt when it is not clear, it has been confirmed by multiple sources that the AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 is being sold higher than the MSRP and will cost the same as the Limited Edition version. The prices vary from region to region but this trend seems to stay the same.
The official MSRP for the AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 GPU is $499 while the Limited Edition is supposed to cost $599. In the US retailers are claiming that the GPUs will cost $650 which is more than the MSRP of both GPUs. Things are the same for the UK, where these cards will cost 703 GBP. Price for India is about 71,500 INR.
The price for the Vega 64 Black Edition in Singapore is expected to be 999 SGD. There has been no confirmation about the price of the Limited Edition version from Singapore but we will update you when that changes. The price in Japan is 73,800 YPN.
The same is the case for the AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 liquid cooled version. While the MSRP of the GPU is 699 USD, it s expected to be sold for 758 USD. Other prices include 789 GBP for the UK, 85,350 INR for India, 1149 SGD for Singapore, 699 EUR for Europe and 85,800 YPN for Japan. There has been no statement from AMD to justify these differences.
You can expect some retailers to sell the GPUs at MSRP so that AMD can say that they were sold at MSRP. Until there is official word from AMD it is hard to say why the company is pulling off something like this. It could be due to the mining craze or some other reason.
