Swedish football star Zlatan Ibrahimović will have his own original iOS game called Zlatan Legends later this month. The game, which will take the Swedish striker into space, has apparently been in development for two years while Ibrahimović has been playing for the English football club Manchester United.
Apparently, Zlatan Legends will be taking place in space. In the teaser trailer, which you can watch in this article, Ibrahimović mentions how he thought he had conquered every sort of obstacle that someone could in football, and that he thought that there was no one left to challenge him before “they” came.
While we don’t really know what the game is about, considering that Ibrahimović is a football star it will most likely involve interstellar soccer played against teams of aliens, though we don’t really know anything else. What we do know is that Zlatan will be dealing with an old rival, and that he’ll be wearing a pretty cool looking suit of power armor.
This is, however, essentially a vanity project for Ibrahimović. The company that’s making Zlatan Legends, Isbit Games, is co-owned by the man. This will actually be the second game that he’s helped produce, the first one being First-Person Lover. That one was a promotional game that Ibsit made for the fashion label of Swedish tennis player Björn Borg.
The game will be coming out on August 17, a little over a week away, for the Apple Store, so if you’re a fan of Zlatan Ibrahimović and have an iPhone, you can be on the lookout for the game around that date. If you don’t have an iPhone, the game will be coming to Google Play sometime after its original release.
