Lawbreakers is just a day away from launching for PC and PlayStation 4 and the file size for the PS4 version of Lawbreakers have been revealed. Given that games these days take an average of 40 GB of the hard drive on PC and consoles, Lawbreakers, on the other hand, will take much less space on your PS4 HDD.
Lawbreakers will take 8.93 GB of you PlayStation 4 hard drive space which is way too low compared to other titles releases these days which can take up to 60 GB of hard drive space. However, it is yet unclear how much space Lawbreakers will take on PC.
While the game will be launching for PC and PS4 tomorrow and will be leaving behind both Xbox One and Nintendo’s latest hybrid console, Nintendo Switch. But, the studio has hinted that the Lawbreakers could be announced for Xbox One soon. In a recent social media post from Cliff Bleszinski indicated that the game could soon be arriving on Xbox One as well.
As for Nintendo Switch, the studio does not seem interested in bringing the title to the hybrid console.
According to lead designer Dan Nanni, perfecting the control scheme on PS4 for Lawbreakers has been very challenging and Switch has even fewer buttons compared to the PS4 controller.
There’s a possibility for everything and anything in this world. I think the hardest part with the Switch is the controls. Look at the game that we have right now, and we just literally by the skin of our teeth put the entire game and the control pad that the PlayStation has. That means that we could probably make it work for the Xbox One in someway, right? But if you’re looking at the Switch the base controller that’s on the unit, it doesn’t have as many buttons.
Lawbreakers is a first person multiplayer shooter and will be released exclusively for PC and PlayStation 4 on August 8, 2017.
