Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a few months away from launch and gamers are excited to see what the game has to offer especially its single-player campaign. DICE is also looking to make some changes to the overall game’s formula is the sequel to make the game much more balanced which also included the Battle Points.
Battle Points are an all new system in the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront 2 and EA has detailed how these Battle Points will work in the game. The system introduces an all dimension of new risk and rewards as players will be pressed to make a split second decision about how to use their Battle Points.
First of all, let’s talk about how players will earn these Battle Points in Star Wars Battlefront 2. Players will earn these points by contributing to the team’s progress and most of the actions will net you some points. These points can be used to summon reinforcements or become a Death Trooper or leap over your foes as the B2 Rocket Droid.
Players will be able to change things up a bit when they spawn in the start of the match by respawning as reinforcements. Also, this will be available in different forms for players, like piloting the V-wing starfighter or thundering AAT or players can play as special characters like the Clone Jumptrooper and B2 Super Battle Droid.
Players will continually earn Battle Points in Star Wars Battlefront 2 even after becoming a special character or controlling a vehicle. Players will also be able to cash in a large sum of these points to become one of the heroes and this is the only way a player can play as heroes like Kylo Ren, Yoda and more.
However, Battle Points require quick thinking as players will have to decide if they want to summon reinforcements right in the start of the match or be patient and earn enough to play as a hero.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a first-person action shooter in development at DICE and is scheduled to launch this fall for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
