Recently, an official online competition was held to determine a game mode that would be added permanently for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
The community was asked to vote between Prop Hunt, a rendition mode of the traditional hide-and-seek game but where players use in-game assets, and Slasher, a survival mode where one player hunts the others with a machete.
Prop Hunt won the competition with a massive margin, garnering over 19,000 votes against just 2,800. It is now available as a permanent inclusion in the standard playlist for those interested in taking a break from the core military warfare theme.

Prop Hunt has featured in Modern Warfare Remastered multiple times in the past but for only slight periods of time. Raven Software has introduced several improvements for the mode already. Now, based on further feedback, it is finally bringing out a detection system that kicks idle players.
Take note that Modern Warfare Remastered is currently running a double experience and credits event. It will conclude in the next couple of days, giving players that much time to amass some much needed points even if it is through the newly added Prop Hunt mode.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered became available as a standalone game last week, almost a year after it was released as a bundle that included Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare as a mandatory purchase.
