A Destiny 2 Playstation 4 bundle has been revealed, showing off a special version of the Playstation 4 that will be available with Destiny 2 when it’s released. The console will also come with a special controller with special Destiny insignia and logos on it. The console will be available in black or white.
Both bundles will come with the Playstation version of Destiny 2 (which comes with a sizable amount of Playstation 4 exclusive content), the Destiny 2 expansion pass that will allow you to obtain all of the Destiny 2 DLC when those expansions come out, and some premium digital content as well. That premium digital content includes a legendary sword, a legendary emote, and a Cabal-themed emblem.
Destiny 2 is the sequel to 2014’s original Destiny, where players have to retake the Last City and the Traveler from a Cabal invasion force known as the Red Legion. Players will go across the Solar System to new planets and learn new powers as they fight the Red Legion and other familiar enemies as they make their way through what Bungie has said is a much-improved story.
Some of the Playstation 4 exclusive content that’s part of the Destiny 2 Playstation 4 bundle includes an exclusive Strike, an Exotic Sniper Rifle, a special ship, a special Crucible map, and three legendary armor sets.
All of this content will come to the Xbox One at a later date, but that may be at least a year or more after the game comes out, fitting with the way that Playstation 4 content was moved over to the Xbox (to the point that the last brace of exclusive content won’t come out on the Xbox version of Destiny before Destiny 2 releases.)
You can pick up the Destiny 2 Playstation 4 bundle when the game comes out on September 6, and the Limited Edition controller will be available separately, so you’ll have to move fast if you want to get it. The game also comes out for the Xbox One and Playstation 4.
