Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is over a week away from launch and gamers are interested to see what the game has to offer. The game will launch for PC, PS4 and PS4 Pro and like the other PS4 Pro titles the PS4 Pro owners will see enhancements for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on their console.
Developer Ninja Theory has revealed the Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice enhancements for both PlayStation 4 Pro and the PC. According to the studio, PS4 Pro owners will have the option to play the game at 60 FPS or play it an increased resolution over the base PS4.
As for the PC version of the game, the game will support 4K resolution along with uncapped frame rate and will also support Ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio. Also, Ninja Theory has revealed a brand new trailer for the game teasing the game’s premise. Check out the trailer below.
In related news, Ninja Theory has revealed that the game will blend live action cutscenes with in-game footage. According to the devs, the reason why they used live-action cutscene is the limited budget. Due to a limited budget, the artists could not create and animate additional characters for Senua.
To overcome this problem they used actors and dressed them up and shot the scenes and implemented them in the game. In addition to this, the team also used a range of post-processing techniques to make sure these live-action scenes look and feel same as the gameplay and in the video it is almost impossible to spot the difference.
Hellblade is an upcoming action video game in development at Ninja Theory and will launch on August 8, 2017, for PC and PlayStation 4.
