Shadow Of War is over 2 months away from launch and developer Monolith Productions has been busy creating a sequel that improves upon everything of its predecessor. Just recently, the devs gave us a detailed look at Shelob in an exciting trailer now it has been confirmed that Shadow of Mordor composer is back for Shadow Of War.
Garry Schyman himself confirmed that he is returning to compose music for the upcoming Shadow Of War. Garry has won a BAFTA nomination for his work on Shadow Of Mordor. He revealed that he is excited to be working on the upcoming game and believes that his work will enhance the game’s experience.
I am pleased, excited and grateful to announce my work in scoring WB/Monolith Games massive sequel to Shadow of Mordor: Shadow of War.
Shadow of War is much more than a sequel, I believe it stands as a real achievement in game design and execution and will be talked about for decades. I also believe our score wonderfully enhances this project.
He added that he has written “over two and half hours of music in partnership” with his friend Nathan. “In addition to writing 90 minutes of in-game music, I scored nearly an hour of beautiful acted and rendered CGI movies, some of the best in-game cinematic acting I have had the privilege to work on.”
In related news, Monolith Productions has also revealed that players will not be able to replay failed missions in the upcoming Shadow Of War. If the player dies during the castle siege the time will move forward, player’s allies will be captured and the enemies will grow in strength.
Shadow Of War is an open-world action adventure game in development at Monolith Productions and is scheduled to launch on October 10, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
