Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is set to launch late this year and fans are excited about the game. With the game featuring more than 3 hours of cutscenes, there is no doubt that the upcoming sequel will be bigger and better than the Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Bethesda Softworks has released a new trailer for Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus that showcases an intense encounter between game’s protagonist “BJ Blazkowicz” and a Nazi officer at a local milkshake shop. In the trailer we see Blazkowicz entering a dinner and an unlucky Nazi officer happens to be there.
Mmm, the strawberry milkshake. A delicious summer treat so refreshing, it’s considered to be a “favorite American thing” to one particular Nazi Kommandant, who decided to pick one up at a local diner in Roswell, New Mexico. Unfortunately, BJ Blazkowicz just happens to be at that same diner, leading to a very tense encounter.
Also, Dark Horse will be publishing an art book for the upcoming sequel. Dark Horse promises that The Art of Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus will be “overflowing with concept art, production material, and exclusive commentary from the creators of the newest entry in the epochal franchise.”
According to creative director Jens Matthies, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus will not be the last entry in the rebooted franchise and also hinted that Mecha-Hitler might return in the next game.
The studio has planned the series as three part saying that “We always envisioned this as a trilogy”. he further added that “if we get to make the third one–once we introduce Mecha-Hitler, you can’t go up from there.”
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is a first-person action shooter in development at Machine Games and is scheduled to launch on October 27, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
