In related news, series creator, Hideo Kojima, is not happy with the direction in which Metal Gear franchise is going with the upcoming Metal Gear Survive. According to Kojima, the game has nothing in common with the franchise.
It has nothing to do [with me]. I know absolutely nothing about it. That’s because it’s totally unrelated to me, right? Um, how should I put this? Well, for me, Metal [Gear] is espionage with political fiction. Right? So, because of that, there’s no reason that zombies would show up. This is how I see it, you know?
Also, a Metal Gear Solid movie is in the works, many assumed that the project is dead, until recently director Jordan Vogt-Roberts(Kong Skull Island) assured that the movie is in development.
Metal Gear Survive is a co-op survival action game and it will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC sometime in 2017.
