Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare is one of the best entries in the Call Of Duty franchise. However, the game was only available as a bundle with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare but, things have changed and the game is available as a stand-alone title and now Activision has announced the release date for the Xbox One version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
Activision has revealed that the stand-alone version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be coming to the Xbox One on July 27th, 2017. The game will include the single-player campaign and 16 multiplayer maps but, the Variety Map pack will not be included. Also, the stand-alone release for PC is currently not known.
Also, we might be seeing another map pack for the remastered game as Regroup map pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remastered has allegedly been leaked. The listing for the map pack has been removed from the site but, an eagle-eyed Reddit user managed to screenshot the listing.
This map pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered includes remasters of Terminal, Estate, and Highrise maps from Modern Warfare 2 and Dome from Modern Warfare 3.
I related news, Call of Duty: WWII is the next entry in the popular FPS franchise and like the previous titles it will also feature a Zombies mode.
Keeping up the tradition of featuring Hollywood actors in its Zombies mode, Call of Duty: WWII zombies will feature Doctor Who actor David Tennant and Elodie Yung, known for playing Elektra in Daredevil.
Also, Sledgehammer Games has also revealed that the Zombies mode will be based on true events. Given that Zombies are fiction one would assume that Sledgehammer Games to compromise on the historical authenticity to feature the hordes of undead. However, the studio intends to keep the authenticity even for the zombie’s mode.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is a first-person action shooter for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
