Destiny 2 may be in beta right now but Bungie is still keeping the original Destiny operational and seeing that it’s Friday today, Xur Agent of the Nine returns once again to the game for the weekend with his unique loot which the players can acquire by cashing in Strange Coins.
For this weekend, Xur will be located by the Speaker in the Tower and will stay there until Sunday 11 AM BST which is when he departs the area till the next Friday. For this week, Xur Agent of the Nine is carrying the following items:
- Helmet Legacy Engram for 29 Strange Coins
- Thagomizers, Titan Gauntlets for 13 Strange Coins
- Knucklehead Radar, Hunter Helmet for 13 Strange Coins
- The Ram, Warlock Helmet for 13 Coins
- MIDA Multi-Tool, Scout Rifle for 23 Coins
Of course, if someone has an excess of Strange Coins, they can also trade in that rare currency for Mote of Light, Exotic Shard, Three of Coins which increase drop rate as well as Heavy Ammo Synthesis.
Given that Destiny 2 is just over a month away, the popular for the original game will most probably start declining but Bungie will be continuing to support the game for a while. Those interested in continuing their journey in this world can try out the Destiny 2 open beta starting today on PS4 and Xbox One. For gamers with a 4K display handy, the PS4 Pro version might be the best thing right now, at least until the PC version is released.
The Destiny 2 beta is changing a lot of things in the game including the ability to shoot down Cabal ships straight out of the sky. The early access phase of the beta has ended and Bungie has thanked players for their continued feedback as it will help the team further polish the game for the 6th September console release.
