Bandai Namco has released Tekken 7 patch 1.04 for both PS4 and Xbox One today. The new Tekken 7 patch weighs in around 740mb and while the developers haven’t released any patch notes so far like they did for previous patches, we can piece together most of the changes judging from the players who tried the game post-patch.
The Tekken 7 patch 1.04 doesn’t seem to be filled with a lot of improvements and fixes when it comes to quality of life for the game however it does have some handful changes in the visual department. One of the most notable changes in patch 1.04 seems to be the restoration of black and other darker colors during customization.
Even game Director Katsuhiro Harada talked about this change and mentioned that players will be able to use almost pure black colors but depending on the type of customization, it is possible that the end result might appear closer to gray.
Tekken 7 patch 1.04 is currently available to anyone who owns the game on PS4 and Xbox One. For PC players, a bigger and more cumulative patch with all the improvements of consoles released so far will be available at the end of this month according to the official Tekken 7 Twitter.
Tekken 7 patches for PC might be slow but at least they are getting the job done and the developers seem to be working with hardware manufacturers as well to fix some issues such as the recent AMD 300 series crashing problem.
Last weekend, the EVO 2017 championship series concluded where Bandai Namco announced the next character which will be joining the Tekken 7 roster. The new character, and another one following the trend of cross-franchise appearance similar to Akuma, is none other than Geese Howard from Fatal Fury series.
