Project Cars 2 Career Mode Has Completely Reworked Class System, Tons Of Details Revealed
Project Cars 2 is one of the most anticipated games to launch this year and only two months remain before we get our hands on it. As the launch is getting closer Slightly Mad Studios has been revealing new details and this time the devs have opened up about Project Cars 2 Career Mode.
Slightly Mad Studios has detailed the improvements and the new features that players will see in Project Cars 2 career mode. According to the studio, the game will feature 29 different motorsports which have been divided into 6 classes and 5 unique disciplines to completely immerse the players.
Players can work their way up from entry-level motorsports such as karts, Formula Rookie, or Ginetta Juniors in Project Cars 2 career mode or they can choose to go straight to the advance Motorsports if they like to enjoy shorter, stress-packed races.
It will depend on players how they choose to approach their career mode in Project Cars 2. Players can dominate the same championship year after year or can win three blue-band events such as the Indy 500 and the 24-hour race Of Le Mans.
Players will also have the option to become the factory drive in Project Cars 2 career modes for brands such as Ferrari and Porsche.
Furthermore, Slightly Mad Studios has explained that Class System is the core of the career mode in Project Cars 2. According to the devs, the class system in the game has been model according to how real life drivers encounter them.
Players will be free to go directly and work in class 6 instead of going to class 1 and will be able to switch between 5 disciplines namely single-seaters, GT, prototypes, rallycross and touring cars which will allow the players to experience the depth that has been seldom seen in other racing sims.
Furthermore, the class system in Project Cars 2 career mode has been carefully reworked in order to give players to experience a wide range of over 180 different cars and 40 tracks which include all the classics and the moderns.
Furthermore, revival style events such as Group 5 GTs, Group A Touring Cars, and Group C prototypes will authentically recreate historical events.
Also, players will be able to set the duration of each race and will be able to turn off the raining units and qualifying sessions. Contracts will return in Projects Cars 2 career mode with an improved system that will ensure that drivers have the freedom of choosing the course of their racing career.
For example, players can choose which team they want to sign-up with, which car they want in particular and players will be given the options for teams who have the available seat for their desired car.
Also, the devs will introduce a new feature called manufacturer ‘s trips. In this new feature 14 of the world’ s most iconic automobile manufacturers including Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin will invite players to take part in a series of epic driving challenges to make a full-fledged factory driver.
These events will accurately represent their cars and classes for which the manufacturer is known for such as Nissan will offer Group C prototype event and the modern GT3 class.
In addition to these invitational events in Project Cars 2 career mode, if a player is successful in the course will trigger events in which players can participate whenever they like outside of the career mode. While these events were part of the first game but, have been greatly improved in the sequel.
The Career Mode in Project CARS 2 is designed to represent the career path of a real racing driver as realistically as possible while being tailored to the needs and desires of the Project CARS 2 racers.
Project Cars 2 is an upcoming racing simulator game in development at Slightly Mad Studios and will launch in September 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
