The Razer MAINGEAR R2 gaming PC is a MAINGEAR product that has been made with collaboration with Razer. So you get the performance of a MAINGEAR prebuilt system with all kinds of configurations as well as the styling of Razer. This is a perfect combination if you are looking for great performance as well as stylish looks for your next PC and do not want to build one yourself.

We have previously seen the Razer MAINGEAR R1 gaming PC and while that was pretty big, this one is smaller. The Razer MAINGEAR R2 gaming PC is 30% smaller as compared to the older version. But that does not mean that you are losing the performance. This is a small form factor PC and the only trade off is that you can only install a single GPU.

There are plenty of people that will be willing to make this trade off in favor of the small form factor design. There are all kinds of combinations that you can choose from. Razer MAINGEAR R2 gaming PC features both AMD Ryzen and Intel CPUs. The price of the AMD configuration starts at $1100 while you will be paying $1200 for the Intel configuration.

You can go up to $4299 on the AMD side and $4399 on the Intel side. There is a $100 difference in price but on the AMD side you can get up to 8 cores and 16 threads. This is limited to 4 cores and on the Intel side of things. I cannot say for sure but I do think that people will be more inclined towards AMD Ryzen as it is better value for money and you are getting a lot of addition CPU power for the price.

The PC also features custom water cooling to ensure that all your parts stay cool under loads and the temperature remains in check. You can check out all the details at the official website.
