With just 2 days left until San Diego Comic Con begins and Activision officially releases the trailer of Call of Duty WW2 Zombies, the official Call of Duty Twitter has revealed yet another cast member from the WW2 Zombies mode as a playable character in co-op.
The 3rd character to join the roster in Call of Duty WW2 Zombies has been revealed to be Marie Fischer who will be portrayed by Katheryn Winnick from the History Channel TV series, Vikings. Winnick will be joining the previously revealed cast members, David Tennant and Elodie Yung as one of the playable characters in co-op Zombies mode.
The Zombies mode in Call of Duty games is usually 4-player so there is at least one more cast member to be revealed so far. On top of that, there are always some guest stars in the different episodes of the game mode but it is highly likely that those will be revealed during the actual Call of Duty WW2 Zombies panel at SDCC.
Sledgehammer Games, the developers of this iteration of Call of Duty have revealed that the Zombies mode of the game will be based on true events. A few days ago, the trailer for the game mode was leaked across the internet, however, the developers and Activision were quick to take it down and express their disappointment in the leak. It is no surprise that companies like to keep such trailers and reveals under wrap until the right moment and early leaks can ruin the fun even for some fans.
Call of Duty WW2 is set to release on 3rd November for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game will take the franchise away from the recent futuristic settings and back to its World War 2 roots with boots on the ground gameplay. The game will also supposedly have a third person mode although it might be only in the Destiny-like social space.
