Life Is Strange: Before The Storm Latest Dev Diary Focuses On Chloe
Life Is Strange fans were more than excited when Square Enix revealed Life Is Strange: Before The Storm at Microsoft’s E3 press conference and Deck Nine has been revealing new details about the game and its characters. This time the studio has rolled out a new video that focuses on Chloe and what makes her unique.
In this new Life Is Strange: Before The Storm video, we see Ashly Burch, who voiced Chloe in Life Is Strange and is a writing consultant on the upcoming prequel, lead writer Zak Garriss, and Chloe voice actress Rhianna Devries who talk about Chloe and how relatable she is.
People are inherently complex. This has been one of our guiding principles throughout both Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm. This idea extends beyond the protagonists of our game to include all characters in the world we are building, but is especially true of both Chloe and Rachel.
Recently, co-director, Chris Floyd explained what makes Chloe different from Max Caulfield. According to Floyd, what makes Chloe different from Max is her destructive capabilities and said that Chloe is a “wrecking ball” that just bashes through the things that are in front of her.
However, this is not the only Life Is Strange game in development as Dotnod has confirmed that it is working on Life is Strange 2. The studio announced it through a recent Steam Community blog post, confirming that there are two Life is Strange games in development and one of them is Life Is Strange 2.
So yes, that means there are now TWO Life is Strange projects in development, with DONTNOD Entertainment having also recently announced that they are also working on a new game. You’ll be the first to hear when we have more news on their game but for now, let’s focus on the newly announced Life is Strange: Before the Storm.
Life Is Strange: Before The Storm is an upcoming episodic adventure in development at Deck Nine Games and the first episode will launch in August for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
