Publications claiming that For Honor playerbase is struggling are wrong, according to Ubisoft. The game’s publisher had a representative speaking in a Twitch stream regarding an upcoming patch. His statements included a comment about the playerbase, saying that fake news people need to know that we have a lot of players in-game.

While the rep didn’t share specific numbers it seemed he was pretty satisfied with the stats. It is interesting because the Steam reviews for For Honor went into the “Mostly Negative” section recently which may have affected the in-game’s playerbase. According to data gathered from Steam Chartz, the all-time peak stands at over 45K players. Meanwhile, For Honor has lost %20.78 percent of its playerbase in the past 30 days.
The game is also available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Uplay. Numbers from these three platforms aren’t available to us so we can’t say how the title is performing.
