Xbox One X is the most powerful and smallest console ever made by Microsoft. The machine is capable of delivering native 4K in most games. However, a decent number of games would still be dynamic resolution and checkerboard 4K. While the machine can be considered a beast of a console, it is in no way able to stand aside powerful PCs.
So saying that it can is a statement that can not be taken seriously. However, that doesn’t stop people from saying it. According to Adolfo Aguirre, Lienzo’s marketing and PR manager, a studio that is working on Mulaka for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC:
The Xbox One X is a beast of a machine and we can’t wait to see what we can do with it. It doesn’t overpower the most high-end machines, but it’s absolutely a powerful console that can stand side by side with some of the greatest PCs
We haven’t worked with the Xbox One X yet so I can’t really say much about it, but there is indeed a significant boost when talking about the One X. We’re excited about it and we can’t wait to see the game running on that hardware
While he does say that the console doesn’t overpower the most high-end PCs, he went on to say that the console can stand aside some of the greatest PCs. Aren’t high-end PCs the greatest PCs? Anyways, the fact of the matter is that even at native 4K/60FPS the texture, lighting, foliage, and asset quality a Xbox One X game can not compete with a high-end PC.
But the console does manage to overpower Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro.
