Fans are excited for the upcoming Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus which is set to launch later this year. The game takes place in an alternative timeline where Nazis have taken over the world and Bethesda has released a new trailer showcasing Nazis take on the American game show.
The video for Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus showcases an episode of “German or Else!”, of which we got a glimpse in the first trailer and now Bethesda has launched an extended trailer.
It’s not enough for the Nazis to simply subjugate the planet. That’s why they are even imposing their will on pop culture, taking what would have been iconic American TV shows and producing them with a uniquely German attitude. Also, Dark Horse will be publishing an art book for the upcoming sequel. Dark Horse promises that The Art of Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus will be “overflowing with concept art, production material, and exclusive commentary from the creators of the newest entry in the epochal franchise.”
According to creative director Jens Matthies, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus will not be the last entry in the rebooted franchise and also hinted that Mecha-Hitler might return in the next game.
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is a first-person action shooter in development at Machine Games and is scheduled to launch on October 27, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
