It’s About Time Bluehole Introduce Match Rejoin Feature To PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is currently the hot thing in the gaming community, so much so, that Facebook has signed a deal with Bluehole Studio for exclusive content. However, the game is currently in early access so definitely there are still many features that are yet not present in the game, but, it is about time that Studio introduces Match Rejoin feature to the game.
It has been my personal experience, during Squad matches in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, which by the way you can also play in solo, some time server issues kick in and I was shown a “Network Lag Detected” error. This error pops up sometimes due to server issues which happen rarely.
However, the main reason why this error pops up for me is that of the network connection which I am currently using disconnects sometimes and it kicks me out of the match even if I was alive or inside the zone. It has been a while since the game hit the early access and it is about time that Bluehole introduces the match Rejoin option to the game.
Other MMOs like League Of Legends and Dota 2 have this option and I believe that it should now be introduced to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. I am not saying that the studio must implement it in the similar vain as Dota and LOL but, with a different twist.
The devs could implement it in a way that is the internet connection is disconnected or some server issue pops up and if my character is alive by the time the issue is resolved or my connection comes back then I should be allowed to continue from where I left off. However, if the character dies outside of the zone or someone kills it while the error was showing then there is no point in joining back in.
But, this is just a suggestion and I hope that Bluehole Studio has plans for this issue and will soon introduce the Match Rejoin feature in the future updates.
