Sequel To Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Is Far Way Off, Says Producer

Nintendo has clarified that the sequel to Zelda: Breath Of the Wild is far away at this point as the studio is looking at the ideas for the sequel.

Legend OF Zelda: Breath of The Wild is one of the best games to launch this year and Nintendo has been supporting with DLC. However, fans are already talking about the sequel to the critically acclaimed game, however, Nintendo has clarified that the sequel far away at this point as the studio is looking at the ideas for the sequel.

Speaking with Gamereactor, Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma was asked about Zelda sequel to which he replied that the sequel to Zelda: Breath Of the Wild is far way off as the development team is still thinking about it and considering the ideas for the sequel.

We have no plans for a future Zelda, we are still far from all this unfortunately for you. Today, I’m at a stage where I’m trying to gather a number of ideas for a sequel, but I cannot do it alone. It’s a lot of work that will have to be done over a long period of time, and we’re still far from having planned anything. Leave us a little time…

Recently, game director Hidemaro Fujibayashi talked about the game design and said that there are still a lot of things that the devs are yet to explore in this new game design for the franchise and added that the game design could become the new standard for open-world titles.

We can’t really say much at the moment but there are lots of things in this current game design we still want to explore. If, as a result of that exploration, we feel positive we can provide our audience with new experiences it’s possible this design could become the standard.
