As was expected, both Troy Baker and Alastair Duncan will be returning in Middle-earth Shadow of War to reprise their roles as Talion and Celebrimbor respectively. However, more Shadow of War voice cast members have now been revealed.

The most notable one and another returning Shadow of War cast member is undoubtedly Laura Bailey as the assassin Eltariel, the Blade of Galadriel. From her reveal trailer, Eltariel’s objective seems clear, kill everyone corrupted by the power of Sauron’s ring. Whether she will end up being a valuable ally to Talion or not remains to be seen.

Laura Bailey also voiced Ioreth, Talion’s wife in Shadow of Mordor so she is no stranger to Monolith’s take on the epic world created by Tolkien. She has also previously worked on numerous high profile games which include voicing Nadine Ross in Uncharted 4, Kait in Gears of War 4 and Jaina Proudmoore in World of Warcraft.

The other Shadow of War voice cast members revealed so far are Kumail Nanjiani from Silicon Valley and Mass Effect Andromeda alongside Pollyana McIntosh, best known for her role of Jadis in the latest season of The Walking Dead.

There is currently no mention of the characters both Kumail and Pollyana will be voicing and motion capturing as. However, given that San Diego Comic Con is coming up, those questions should be answered soon enough.

Monolith Productions and Warner Bros. Interactive have planned a Shadow of War panel on 21st July during SDCC and the voice cast will be joining Michael de Plater, Monolith’s creative vice president on stage.

Scheduled for an October 10th release, Shadow of War is shaping up to be a well deserved sequel to the original game. Not only is the open world expanding considerably, Monolith has assured that the game’s ending will more than make up for the lackluster end of Shadow of Mordor.

Since the initial reveal, there has been a steady flow of information regarding Shadow of War’s development. During E3, it was revealed that the game will run at native 4K and 30FPS on Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox One X.
