Overwatch Director States the Game to Be “Currently Balanced”

For the past year, the game has seen a number of changes to its characters in terms of balance. At the same time, the passionate community has often voiced that there are still some areas of the game that require balancing. Blizzard on the other hand believes that there is no such need.

According to game director, Jeff Kaplan, who took it to Battle.net forums and talked about balancing Overwatch. While Kaplan talked about it in details but, those expecting some radical changes to make the game more balanced will be disappointed as Kaplan has stated that “the most controversial thing I’ll say here (hopefully) is that I believe the game is currently balanced.”

What I mean is that I don’t feel like there are any heroes who are way too strong to the point of breaking balance.

In related news, recently, Overwatch PTR received an update that with many other things has included new lines of dialogue for D.Va that kick in upon the activation of her Defense Matrix. D.Va already featured a number of voice lines for her other abilities, but now has a few new ones to take into the battlefield.

Overwatch is a first-person multiplayer shooter developed by Blizzard Entertainment for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
