The Call of Duty: WW2 Zombies mode is going to be officially revealed later this month, and will finally show us some information about the latest edition of the popular multiplayer mode. It will be revealed at San Diego Comic-Con on July 20 of this year by its developer, Sledgehammer Games.
The Nazi Zombies mode in the Call of Duty games originally started as a nice after-credits easter egg for Call of Duty: World At War. However, its huge popularity has led almost every Call of Duty game since to include the mode in some capacity as a multiplayer game.
However, we haven’t learned much about the Call of Duty: WW2 Zombies mode even though it was announced several months ago. While there have been some hints dropped about the mode, such as the zombies being part of a Nazi super soldier program that went horribly wrong, we’ve seen nothing that’s actually concrete.
Sledgehammer has also called their version of Call of Duty: Zombies a “unique twist”, though what exactly that means is also up in the air. Every Nazi zombies map has been roughly the same, despite map changes; players start off with pistols and can buy more guns off of the walls or through the mystery box, while also spending points to open up doors that expose more of the map but also let in more zombies.
Either way, San Diego Comic Con is still around two weeks away. Considering that Call of Duty: WW2 is supposed to be releasing sometime later this year, once Comic Con goes by Sledgehammer may release more information not just about the Call of Duty: WW2 Zombies mode, but also more about the game itself.
Call of Duty: WW2 will be releasing on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on November 3 of this year.
