Five Nights at Freddy’s 6 Has Been Cancelled, But Scott Cawthon Isn’t “Abandoning” The Franchise
Five Nights At Freddy’s is an indie horror franchise and is quite popular among gamers. However, the recent entry in the franchise received mixed reviews from critics and gamers and now series creator has announced that Five Nights at Freddy’s 6 has been canceled before even announcing it.
Scott Cawthon announced on Steam community that he has been working on Five Nights at Freddy’s 6 and revealed that while he has been forcing himself to work on the game, he has decided to let it go as he “just don’t want to work on this”.
With each game’s release, I think the expectations get higher and higher for the next, and rightfully so. Each game SHOULD be better than the last! But that pressure starts to mount, and I fear that I’ve been neglecting other things in my life for the sake of trying to keep up with those mounting expectations.
While he has canceled the project but, Cawthon is not abandoning the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise as he revealed that he hopes his next project will be something special for the fans of the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise.
Five Nights at Freddy’s is a popular indie point-and-click survival horror franchise developed by Scott Cawthon for PC and mobile devices.
