Nintendo Switch’s biggest hit, Breath of the Wild, is getting The Master of Trials DLC. Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available on Nintendo Switch as well as the Wii U. The Master of Trials DLC is coming to both platforms with drastically different file sizes.
According to official Nintendo website, Breath of the Wild DLC is only 456MB on Nintendo Switch. However, surprisingly, its file size is almost 4GB on Wii U. The Master Trials DLC is 3.7GB on the Nintendo Switch. This DLC is a part of the season pass for the game.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has a $20 season pass, and with that season pass will come two expansions, a new story, a Cave of Trials challenge, a new hard mode, an additional feature to the game’s map, and another dungeon.
The Master Trials DLC also includes new gameplay features, challenges, and a slew of rewards for players to discover while on their journey to defeat evil. The DLC will include new armor sets for Link, there will be a total of 9 armor pieces divided into 5 different outfits.
To access the DLC you will require the base game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. You can grab each piece of DLC separately but that is going to cost you more compared to the season pass.
