Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds is currently the hot thing in PC gaming community and gamers are enjoying every bit of this game. Given that the game is currently in early access on Steam there is a lot of work that needs to be done by the devs and with every new update for Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, Bluehole has been improving the experience.
One of the many issues with the game is that while playing the game some squad members steal the kill of their teammates. Well, the studio has come up with a solution for that and those teammates that steal the kills will not get the same satisfaction anymore.
Bluehole Studio has announced that it will introduce the new assist mechanic to the game that will stop team members from stealing your kill. With this new mechanic, players who knock down the enemy player will get the kill and the teammate who kills the downed player will get an assist.
However, if a player from another squad kills the downed player will get the kill and you will get the assist so, you might want to look out for that. But, with this new mechanic killing a downed enemy will become a favour to you squad member rather than the means to steal his/her kill.
Also, the studio has confirmed that a single-player mode for the game is also in the works. Players will fight to take one area at a time from the army and will be able to play with 3 or 4 players and join hands to free the island.
Originally I thought, because we have this Russian island and there’s evidence of a military occupation there, it’d be fun to have a Watch Dogs kind of game based on the island. Where it’s a bustling island with military occupation and you and five or four friends can play a single kind of multiplayer campaign set in the ’70s.
Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds is a multiplayer survival game currently in early access for PC and will launch for consoles later.
