Gamer Makes Hybrid X-Station Console From Xbox One And Playstation 4

An enterprising gamer by the name of Ed Zarrick has just come up with a way to solve the console wars between the Xbox One and the Playstation 4, via creating a hybrid X-station console. The X-station allows you to swap between playing one console and another with a switch.

The console wars between the Xbox and the Playstation have been going on since the Xbox first arrived. Fortunes have gone back and forth between the two, and right now the Playstation 4 has the advantage. However, both consoles still have notable exclusives that a person would want to play, even if the Xbox is lacking.

Zarrick was able to make the console by simply taking apart his Playstation 4 and Xbox One and working with a jigsaw puzzle of components in order to make the console work since they’re not normally supposed to work in tandem with one another.

Altogether, the hybrid X-station console was able to be fit into a case not much bigger than an Xbox One itself. All it took was two weeks of work and a small amount of problem solving; Zarrick even put on some flashing lights and a switch so that people could swap between the Xbox One and the Playstation 4.

Zarrick has previously come up with things other than the hybrid X-station console. He’s also come up with things like the Playbook 4s, a Playstation 4 laptop.

And that’s not all; if you want to get an X-station console for yourself, all you have to do is get in touch with Zarrick, since he builds the things for a living. However, it won’t be cheap; the cost is around $1,495, plus shipping and handling, if you’re in the market for them.

If you want to see how Zarrick created the console for yourself, you can watch the video further up the article.
