Wolfenstein fans have been very excited since the announcement of the upcoming Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus that will hit PC and consoles later this year. Bethesda showcased snippet of a number of cutscenes for the game and the devs have revealed that there is more where it came from.
According to the devs, there are around 3 hours of cutscenes in Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. Speaking with PCGamesN, creative director Jens Matthies, confirmed that the upcoming Wolfenstein will have feature almost three hours of cutscenes and also features 100 actors.
We’re extremely happy with how it all comes together, both in terms of the physical locations, the play spaces, but also in terms of the story. The story is super, super ambitious, and we’re so proud of how everything’s coming together. We have such a huge cast [and so many] cinematics – so in terms of the storytelling it’s a very, very big undertaking. It’s something we couldn’t even attempt last time around because we didn’t have the experience.
Wolfenstein: The New Colossus is a first-person action shooter in development at Machine Games and is scheduled to launch on October 27, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
