Turn 10 is an industry renowned racing game developer and according to Phil Spencer, it is the “best racing studio.” Speaking during the Xbox Daily Livestream, Phil Spencer stated that it is hard to argue that Forza developer Turn 10 is not the best racing studio. Turn 10 announced Forza Motorsport 7 at E3 2017 and pushed its visuals to 4K 60 FPS on Xbox One X.
Microsoft officially showed Forza Motorsport 7 with a gorgeous trailer showcasing the 4K capabilities of Xbox One X. Aside from the Forza Motorsport 7 reveal, Microsoft also showed the 2018 Porsche 911 2RS and it is the first time this supercar has been revealed to the public.
I think Turn 10, it’s hard to argue that they’re not the best racing studio on the planet right now. They just, time in and time out, [deliver] high quality games, great visuals…. the relationship with Porsche and being able to unveil the GT-2 RS… while it’s cool to be able to do that on stage, and the partnership with Porsche is gonna be important to this game, it’s also a testament to how car manufacturers view Turn 10, and how they take care of their brands.
Spencer went on to say that Porsche revealing its supercar at E3 2017 in partnership with Turn 10 and Microsoft shows how the car manufacturing looks at the gaming industry. The presentation also gave a decent boost to Xbox One X but Sony recently took a jab at the hardware by branding it “elitist.”
The upcoming console from Microsoft will be priced at $499.99 and will also feature built-in 4K blue ray player inside the machine among other features. The console will launch on November 7, 2017, worldwide. For more on Xbox One, stay-tuned!
